Mailnews 1.3
This script helps you to maintain a mailinglist. Users can easily subscribe or
unsubscribe by simply entering their email address in the form below and clicking
on the button
UPDATE.
The user gets a warning in case of an invalid email-address. An email address
is regarded as invalid if it doesn't conatin the sign '@' or if its length is
less than 5.
The script always sends an email to the webmaster to show him, when a person
tried to enter the webmaster page. Included in this email is the username and
the password the user
used to access the webmasters page.
The webmasters page contains some tools only for the
webmaster:
- it is password protected, so that a normal user can't access it
- it shows the list of all members subscribed to he list
- it offers the webmaster the possibility to subscribe and unsubscribe members
from the list
- it gives the webmaster the possibility to send an email to all members
of the list.
